Yeah, I don't think I've seen that many post shots in one game ever. For the Sharks, Hertl hit it 3 times himself.. Tierney nailed the crossbar on a rush. The Pens hit it 3-4 times as well I think. This could have easily been a high scoring game, just seemed like neither team could bury any of the top chances they had. The Pens only regulation goal was due to our horrible 3rd D pairing, and the Sharks goal was a lucky screened shot when the Pens started to back off and turtle a bit.

Sorry, but I do believe that these are the two best teams in the league. Pens have been the best team in the league since February and SJ has been excellent this season in their own right.

The reason the Pens get away with both cloaks is that Crosby rolled a 20. But I'm sure it's because he actually rolled an 8 and complained to the DM enough to get it changed before Pavelski got back with a hot pocket.

if it were not for jones, the first game would have been a 5 goal difference easily. he has been the best shark thus far. the sharks are resilient but no one has told the younger penguins they should not play all out and win.

And really the proof of that is summed up best by saying, "We may not have the two best teams in the NHL playing for the Cup, but we definitely have the two hardest teams to knock out."

Clearly the two best teams aren't playing in the finals - the flyers aren't playing the flyers for the cup. That's the only way the two best teams would be playing each other, right EK? I heard Ghost might win the Conn Smyth despite not playing in the postseason.
